Port of Mertert
Inland navigation constitutes a reliable and safe transportation mode. It offers the possibility to overcome congestion problems encountered on other routes. Luxembourg has a riverport, which can be used for the dispatching of raw materials as well as agricultural products, iron, steel and petrol to the North Sea and other inland destinations.
