Litigation related to CMR International transport can be very expensive and time-consuming. The application of the CMR Convention is not obvious and some actors (Insurers etc..) are therefore tempted to practice some forum shopping to avoid submitting the case to the CMR protection rules.
François Cautaerts, Partner of Molitor Avocats à la Cour and member of the C4L, analyzed a few decades of litigation proceedings and will present some very interesting cases related to the application of this CMR Convention in Luxembourgish courts.
Key recommendations will follow the presentation and the report of the analysis will be distributed to the participants.
