Refresco obtains the first European LEAN & GREEN Star

Connekt is pleased to annonce that Refresco obtained the first European Lean&Green Star. The ceremony will take place at the headquarters of Refresco in Rotterdam on January 28, 2020.
Refresco is the world’s largest independent bottler of beverages for leading retailers and A-brands in Europe and North America. In Europe they are located in seven different countries: Germany, Italy, Poland, France, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands. Please find more information on their website: https://www.refresco.com/en
Connekt used the Lean & Green Europe (aligned) guidelines to award the Star. Connekt analyzed and benchmarked the data for the Lean and Green criteria of CO2 reduction at European level. The data quality showed in percentages that they have 55% gold data, 14% silver, 31% bronze data. Refresco has therefore achieved the 20% reduction on European level.
Connekt is in further talks with companies to follow the example of Refresco.
